VEDUN-A RENEWAL RETREAT WITH MIRIT ON THE ROGLA PLATEAU
1 – 4 September 2016
A harmonising and invigorating 'renewal retreat' by the Veduna School took place last weekend in the Hotel Planja on the Rogla Plateau. The retreat was facilitated by Mira Omerzel - Mirit with the harmonising sounds created by the Vedun Ensemble. Participants prepared themselves for a new work cycle, a new school year. The retreat was full of the joyful company of participants from Slovenia, Croatia and other distant countries.
The packed programme included sound meditations, cosmic sound-energy surgeries, discussions with Mirit about burning topics and changes in the world which cannot be avoided. We sang songs from different nations by the campfire in front of the Jurgovo hut, releasing our weakness and wishes to the 'grandfather of the fire'. Mornings started with tai ji quan, led by Robi and Vida. The Saturday initiation of Saturn and the Sun completely renewed the participants. The Chinese-born violin maestro played with the Vedun Ensemble. The Sunday sound-energy meditation, featuring surgery and Slovene dances which are taught by Mirit at our meetings, gave a new boost to the participants, suffusing them with delight and faith in life.
